Nut Fest is on in 2027!

We are continue to follow our biennial pattern, much like our masting nut trees, and will not be happening in 2026. However keep a lookout out for 2027! We are already planning and scheming to bring more community and connection through all things nuts.

The 6th Annual Chestnut Festival @Big River Chestnuts Sunderland, MA. 10 AM-5PM October 10, 2026

Join us for a celebration of chestnuts, tree crops, local food, and community. Live music by local bluegrass band – Ragged Blue. Food demonstrations by local chefs and foragers.

Vendors include: Forestopia, Masa Mexicano, Seven Hills Farmstead, They Keep Bees, The Giving Trees, Ray Bake, Mycoterra Farm, and much more!!!

SNAP payments are accepted for fresh chestnuts, flour and fruits.
